Cyclophotoablation
Cyclophotoablation is a process that uses light (such as may be generated by lasers) to destroy the ciliary body of the eye.
Why perform a cyclophotoablation ?
One reason for performing an cyclophotoablation is to reduce production of the aqueous humour in order to reduce intraocular pressure.
Cyclophotoablation is a process used in the treatment of glaucoma.
