Blue Lace Agate

Blue Lace Agate is a naturally occurring gemstone that is pale blue in colour and often includes striations and variations in shades blue. These variations in colour patterns are sometimes thought to visually resemble lace, hence its name.

Blue Lace Agate has a trigonal crystal structure, blue lace agate being a form of quartz. Quartz is the common name for the crystal form of silicon dioxide whose chemical formula is SiO2.

Blue Lace Agate is sometimes associated with:

  • the astrological sign of Pisces
  • the throat, heart, third-eye and crown chakras
  • the number 3
